Putnam City Schools Continues Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Students in 2026-2027
Putnam City Schools will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students at all school sites during the 2026-2027 school year through the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
Under the program, every student enrolled in Putnam City Schools will be eligible to receive one healthy breakfast and one lunch at no charge every school day. Families will not need to pay for these meals or complete a meal application for their children to participate.
The district may ask families to complete a separate form to help determine eligibility for other school funding purposes. Families should note that this form is not a meal application and does not determine eligibility for the free school meals provided through CEP.
Putnam City Schools is committed to ensuring our students have access to nutritious meals each school day, allowing them to focus on learning, growing, and being successful in the classroom. We are pleased to continue offering this benefit to our families throughout the 2026-2027 school year so our students can continue to Go Boldly.
