Hello Wrangler Families,

My name is Susan Illgen, and I am the principal at Will Rogers Elementary School.  I have been in education for 24 years and as administrator for ten years.  I am a mother of four and a grandmother of one. It brings me great fulfillment to devote my life and career to children.  I love working in a school building – all the busyness, joy, and challenges it brings.

My mission is to love well and love first.  This means that every decision we make begins with love and every student we work with will be loved before we make any decision that impacts them.  I also enjoy serving teachers –they have the hardest jobs on the planet.  

Our teachers are the cream of the crop.  They have worked hard to create a welcoming environment for your student and have nothing but high expectations for your student.  It doesn’t take long for students to settle right.  The teachers at Will Rogers will truly blow your socks off!
